Kai-Rupert Nolte - Managing Director
Kai is the co-founder and present Managing Director of HEP Corporate Finance Limited (Hong Kong) and a former co-founder and Managing Director of the venture capital firm Hong Kong Equity Partners Limited (Hong Kong). Prior to this Kai was a Director Business Development at Standard & Poor’s International Ratings Limited (Frankfurt & London), and before this has spent 25 years in international corporate banking having worked for Standard Chartered Bank, Deutsche Bank Asia and HSBC in Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, the United Kingdom and the USA.
Kai is presently also a Director of the investment holding company SkyHawk Investment Limited (Hong Kong) and an Advisor to Commercial Economics Asia Limited (Hong Kong), and was until recently a Non-Executive Director of the private equity placement agent Palomar Private Equity Limited (Hong Kong & Zurich). In addition, Kai has in the past also served as Non-Executive Director on the Boards of five other private Hong Kong companies, and on the Supervisory Board of a German listed company.

Dr. Norbert Wanninger – Advisor
Norbert has extensive senior level financial services experience and has been involved in private equity fund-raising since 2008. Prior to this he has worked for Standard Chartered Bank from 2006 to 2008, firstly as Senior Banker in Transaction Banking in Singapore and subsequently as Chief Executive in Germany. Preceding this, Norbert spent 22 years in international banking with Deutsche Bank AG both in Europe and Asia. During his tenure with Deutsche Bank from 1983 to 2005, Norbert held various positions in Support Services (Credit Department Singapore), Relationship Management (Corporate Banking Hong Kong), Corporate Governance (Chief Country Manager Hong Kong and Singapore) and Product Management (Global Head of Cash Management). Norbert graduated in Business Administration and holds a PhD in Economics, both from the University of Munich.

Hugh McClung – Advisor
Hugh has over 25 years experience in Venture Management, Start-Up Management, Acquisitions and Strategic Alliances and presently serves as Advisor / Director to a number of private equity Infrastructure Funds in China, India and the USA. Prior to this, Hugh served as Vice Chairman of the Verlarde Group (Philippines) where he was responsible for strategic planning and finance. From 2000 to 2002, he served as Chairman and CEO of China Broadband Network (China) and from 1991 to 2000 he was founder and Vice Chairman of International Wireless Communication, a company involved in the acquisition of and investment in wireless properties in emerging markets. Hugh has significant business development experience through-out the Asia Pacific region.

Tim C. Bridge - Chief Representative USA
Tim has during the preceding decade worked with various U.S. Private Equity and Fund Management interests associated with John Calamos of Calamos Investments. Prior to this Tim was a member of HSBC’s Senior Management team for 20 years. His assignments covered both commercial and investment banking roles globally, having spent extensive periods in Asia, Europe, the Middle East and the USA.

Shervin Fernando - Chief Representative South Asia
Shervin previously held the post of Chief Representative South Asia for Hong Kong Equity Partners Limited for a period of 4 years. Prior to this he has spent 25 years in international banking having served with Citibank, Deutsche Bank Asia and HSBC in Sri Lanka and Saudi Arabia. Shervin is also a Director of a private Sri Lankan corporate advisory firm, of which he is one of the co-founders.
